Prior to starting his own law firm, Steven was a Partner at two national law firms. He has been hired directly by some of the biggest names in the oil and gas, entertainment, insurance, construction and hotel industries. He has been hired on the eve of trial on many occasions to step in as trial counsel. Steven has obtained impressive and surprising victories in cases that appeared to be hopeless for his client. Now that Steven has started is own law firm, he now has to ability to expand his client base at affordable rates and payment plans. He is determined to protect his client’s interests to the fullest extent possible and maintains frequent communication with his clients.
Steven has successfully handled hundreds of cases involving personal injury, commercial litigation, contract disputes, subrogation, business litigation, real estate, and construction defect throughout the courts in Northern, Central and Southern California. Steven represents parties in commercial litigation (including licensing issues), personal injury (including orthopedic, spine and brain injuries), probate litigation, Anti-SLAPP matters, defamation (including inter-industry disparagement), contractual disputes (breach of contract, arbitration-clause challenges), property damage (including commercial property losses resulting from water damage), real estate matters (broker errors & omissions involving unique and historically significant land holdings), and consumer class action litigation (in both State and Federal Courts). Steven has successfully litigated and obtained favorable results for clients involving complicated contractual indemnity issues and other business disputes. He has tried serious personal injury and breach of contract cases to verdict in San Francisco, Van Nuys and downtown Los Angeles and has litigated cases in over 20 different California counties and federal courts throughout the State. Steven has also tried cases in Santa Barbara and San Bernardino counties.
Steven achieved certification as a Litigation Management Professional (CLMP), Columbia University School of Law, Litigation Management Institute in October 2014.
